Community Cares
When cancer hits those we know and love, we want to reach out in a way that is meaningful and helpful. Unfortunately, illness today affects people emotionally and financially which can be far beyond the physical aspects of a disease.
Through the Bucs Pride Wellness Fund and Bluebird Cancer Retreats, we would like to reach out to those dealing with cancer to let them know the community cares. Our team will deliver a gift basket with information on local resources and provide comfort as you begin to navigate a cancer diagnosis. It is our hope to provide comfort and let you know you are NOT ALONE.
You may register a friend or family member by calling our office or contacting us at support@bluebirdmi.org.

Lift of Love
This free program provides a reclining lift chair for participants after surgery or treatment. The reclining chair is designed for comfort and care. It can lift you to a standing position as well as recline.
The chair can be kept throughout the healing process, which usually lasts about 4-5 weeks. Bluebird volunteers can deliver and pick up the chair based on your needs. At this time we are only able to accommodate those living within a 50-mile radius of our office.
The program's mission is to improve the quality of life after surgery and give recipients a helping hand.
