Gift of Caring
You can make a gift to support Bluebird retreat programs, to underwrite a retreat scholarship for someone in need, or to grow our Endowment Fund.  You can rest assured that we take our stewardship responsibility seriously.  Your gift will help in many ways and you can be confident that you will, indeed, touch many lives.
 
Memorial & Tribute Gifts
Gifts in memory of a friend or family member, or in honor of an individual or special occasion often express what words alone cannot.  You may use any of the gift options listed below.  Please be sure to note the name of the person you would like to honor.  If you would like us to notify a family member, please include the family's name and address.
 
Endowment Fund
The Bluebird Cancer Retreats Endowment Fund is held at the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation.  A gift to Bluyebird Cancer Retreat at  Camp Genevathe Endowment Fund is a gift for the future; a gift that will grow and ensure that the Bluebird experience is available for all who need it.  Gifts to the Bluebird Endowment Fund can be made online at the Foundation's website, select Bluebird Cancer Retreats Fund, or mailed to the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation at One South Harbor Drive, Grand Haven, MI, 49417.

Our printable gift form makes it easy to make a donation by mail.  Download the form, complete it, and mail to the address on the form, along with your contribution by check or credit card.

Currently, on-line giving is only available for gifts to the Bluebird Cancer Retreats Endowment Fund, and can be made through the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation's website.

Bequests
By remembering Bluebird Cancer Retreats with a bequest in your will, you can have an impact on people that goes beyond your lifetime.  Your bequest may qualify for an estate tax charitable deduction.  When you make a bequest, we urge you to consult with your attorney or other advisors.
 
Stocks & Securities
Gifts of appreciated securities may offer substantial tax advantages.  These can include the avoidance of the tax on capital gains, and an income tax charitable deduction for the fair market value of the securities.
 
Property &  Retirement Assets
You can give property such as real estate, life insurance, an IRA, works of art, jewelry, rare coins and stamps.  These gifts provide tax advantages and may require independent appraisals to meet IRS guidelines.  We urge you to consult with your tax advisor and/or attorney for additional information.
