Thank you to our golfers, volunteers and sponsors for making 2011 our best year in the history of Gorilla Golf! Over 1800 holes of golf were played and over $22,000 was raised to support the mission of Bluebird Cancer Retreats. In the words our “Top Banana” golfer Don Anderson “The event is always a great experience. What could be better… being able to play all the golf you want, no one keeping score, everyone enjoying the company and the outdoors, wonderful food and beverages and all with the goal of raising money for a great cause.” This was a day to remember, please help us recognize our wonderful golfers and the corporate sponsors that made this event possible! With your help, Bluebird has spent 17 years serving those on their cancer journey by providing hope and healing through weekend retreats. This year, Bluebird is utilizing our Resource Room to offer several year-round services to our community. In addition to our cancer support groups, we have added a caregiver support group and several healthy living workshops. These programs would not be possible without dedicated golfers, donors, sponsors, and friends!
