Bluebird Cancer Retreats
Biking for Bluebird

Many thanks to the riders, sponsors & volunteers that made our second Biking for Bluebird event a huge success!

A Lakeshore Tour
At our 2010 Biking for Bluebird event, Becky Yowtz, cyclist and oncology nurse, proudly wore names on her helmet to represent friends and family that have walked the journey with cancer. That was when we knew this was more than just another century ride!  The inaugural Biking for Bluebird ride was such a success that we are making this an annual event.

Rider Registration
There is no registration fee, but participants must secure at least $500 in contributions to support their 100-mile or 100 km lakeshore tour.  We also have an easy rider option for $100 donation  or contribution.  These bikers will not get the deluxe rider jersey, but will sport a fun t-shirt to show thier support for the cause!

Ride In Style
Each rider will recieve a custom event jersey when you participate in the ride.   Watch for registration cut off date in order to guarantee your jersey for the day of the event.

Tour Day
The tour begins at 8:00 a.m. at the Bluebird offices located at 917 W. Savidge St, Spring Lake with a fun celebration. A special group of donors and volunteers will provide “birdfeeder stations" with energy snacks and drinks to keep our bluebird bikers flying! In addition, full SAG support will be provided by Rock ‘N Road Cycles of Grand Haven and Holland.

Contributions
Riders are asked to complete an online worksheet (see below) as they secure contributions from individual donors and/or sponsorships from businesses or organizations. All contributions to Bluebird Cancer Retreats must be collected and submitted before the tour.
