The Bluebird Enrichment Center
After 17 years of providing weekend retreats for adults with cancer, Bluebird Cancer Retreats decided to expand the support and services we provide in our community. One of the resounding responses we heard from our retreat participants was: “we don’t want this connection and feeling of hope to end, we want to keep coming back to Bluebird”. In 2009, Bluebird opened a Resource Room at our Spring Lake offices in order to meet this need. We began with a dream of offering local cancer support groups, something that could expand the Bluebird mission beyond a weekend. We have since broadened our scope by including a healthy living series, dietary workshops and other monthly programs for cancer survivors AND those hoping to prevent cancer.
As we continue to grow and expand our offerings, we have renamed this resource room to better define its purpose. Please join us in the official opening of:
