Bluebird Cancer Retreats Names New Members to Executive Board & New Retreat Director

Local non-profit, Bluebird Cancer Retreats, continues the trend of expanding services and increasing awareness under the leadership of Board President, Nancy Miller (Vice President, Chemical Bank).  Joining her is Board Vice President, Paige Riopelle (Director of Practice Development & Community Relations, Trilogy Dental Partners).   “I am thrilled to have the vision and leadership of Nancy and Paige as we continue to serve this community with weekend retreats, monthly support groups and healthy living workshops.” explains Executive Director, Renee Denslow.

Wendy Swenson will continue serving as Secretary and new Board member Tricia Schildhouse (Senior Director of Operations for Cancer and Hematology of West Michigan) will be taking on the role of Treasurer.

Bluebird is also excited to announce Gloria LeMaire as our new Retreat Director.  While Gloria is new to this position, she is not new to the Bluebird organization.  She has served three terms on the Board of Directors and served as a volunteer for nearly 10 years.

Through the unique experience of weekend programs, Bluebird Cancer Retreats provides hope and respite for adults who have been diagnosed with cancer. Bluebird also offers monthly programs at their Spring Lake Resource Room located at 917 W. Savidge St. Suite #37.
