Bluebird Cancer Retreats of West Michigan
respite. renewal. hope.
When the diagnosis is cancer, the effects go far beyond physical health. Emotions are tested as never before and spirits are challenged. Family and friends take on an even more meaningful role in the life of a person diagnosed with cancer. Although the love and support of family and friends is paramount, there is often a need to connect with others who are experiencing many of the same emotions.
"Bluebird helped me to rediscover the joy of life. I am now accepting my cancer, living with it and growing."

Through the unique experience of weekend programs, Bluebird Cancer Retreats of West Michigan provides hope and respite for adults who have been diagnosed with cancer.
Bluebird’s retreats are held on the shores of Lake Michigan at the beautiful Geneva Camp & Retreat Center. Attendees are given time to reflect, share, and learn about coping with cancer while participating in a variety of educational and social activities. Participants enjoy a pampering weekend with wonderful food, fun entertainment, holistic treatments such as massage and reflexology and so much more.
Bluebird Cancer Retreats are staffed by medical, spiritual, and social professionals along with cancer survivors and volunteers, and are thoughtfully constructed to ensure a dynamic healing journey toward emotional well-being.
We invite you to learn more about Bluebird, to reflect on the words of those who had been touched by the Bluebird experience, and to see the importance of our generous volunteers and supporters.
Don't hesitate to contact us if you would like to discuss our programs, become a volunteer, or support Bluebird. We look forward to talking with you.
